Yeah, I forgot that KZ2 is the only game I am aware with a proper Clan system on the consoles, the only online game with dynamic objectives, a game where you win badges and mix classes up, and with 3 new map packs.
I think for now people are more concerned of getting through to next week, so that we can all play and see this beauty in action!! We can worry about GOTYs after...
Are you actually saying that GT series is known for its weak gameplay? Here I was thinking that GT was known as being the Real Driving Sim where cars actually have weight and you can't stop in just 5m at 200mph...
GT5:P was first released December 2007 in Japan and then around April 2008 came to the West. So by the time GT5 is released, PD will have put about 2 years work on it. Which is a long time!! But it will all pay off...
Actually played a bit of GT:Prologue today and have to say that it looks just as good as those screenshots. The game is so photo realistic and you have to agree that Forza 3 doesn't match it visually. Forza doesn't look bad anyway but no where near GT.
Guys seriously this is getting sad. Do you really think that extra 4% will make any difference? I welcome any review that is higher than 90 because I know the game at least deserves that.
Its funny on how they say they love the game and it is one of the best games this gen, but give this game only a 9 when NFS just recently received a 10 from them.
What are they just releasing a new SFIV for full price?
Or is it just a new edition of the game?
Didn't really enjoy SFIV and seeing that there will be a better edition kinda makes me regret paying the full price for the game back in Feb.
Good review. I am glad that this game is more forgiving. I found NGS1 to get on my nerves and I had to finish it on the easiest setting (Dragon Ninja I think). I am looking forward to this one and quite enjoyed the demo. When I first bought my 80GB PS3, the first games I got was Uncharted, then Ratchet and NGS. So guess what games I will be getting with my new slim :P
12-13hrs is a long time considering many people will probably play through the game many times. I am glad to see Uncharted 2 getting the scores it deserves...

Of course nothing "on the market" is within years of Forza, but months we have Dirt2 and NFS:Shift, the main competitors. This seems to be the only way to get the 360 owners attentions because they will be probs be busy enjoying their newest expansion pack.

I agree that the footage shown was pretty unimpressive but you shouldn't jump to conclusions like that. That wasn't even in HD and the full game could be a great experience.
You couldn't be any more wrong. I am not going to bad mouth Crackdown because I never played it, but Infamous is easily one of the best games released this year and to those who played it know just how fun it is to play the game. I went out of my way to platinum it and the powers and gfx are simply great for a sandbox game.

How is it a nine-hour journey when developers have already said it is much longer than that (12-15). Clearly the reviewer rushed the game and released an early review just for hits. FACT is this site isn't on Metacritic for some reason.
Anyways 8/10 is still a decent score for a review that doesn't even sound fair. Talking about sound, I was just talking about the sound in Drakes Fortune with my friend. The bass in that is ridiculous when you put the disc and let it play. Try it...
